Winter’s dusk

Seasons’ transition always comes with new energy and optimism. I’m sure in the scorching, humid days of late August we will long for solemn winter days when the temperature stings the face and the world is dormant and white. But warm greens, and life-giving sunshine sounds pretty good right now.

This piece says all that to me. It’s the twilight of winter. The snow is receding, The geese are back. It’s time for a different flavor of beauty.
